That's all I really have to say.
I just watched the game and I was surprised we won.
It really was one of the best games I've ever seen.
It was so good it reminded me so much of why I love this game.I saw coaching decisions I thought inexplicable suddenly become clear and cogent forces, like the same way Faulkner introduces a milieu and you wonder why he's wasting your time with this ephemera only to have the supercilious facts gut punch you later on.I saw two teams of young men never give up, strive towards excellence. I saw them fighting the elements, the crowds, each other in a delicate race for pride in each other. It takes a great adversary to accomplish great things. I saw winners congratulating losers on the greatness of thier accomplishments. I saw tears and life. There was great drama and some non painful tragedy, enough tragedy for tears but not for dying.I love this game and that I got to see it with my friend and with my puppy and dogs makes things near perfect. The game.It contains all that there is in opera, theater and film and somehow is better to me because its young men fueled on dreams who create the scenario. What a wonderful thing it is.It makes life seem even more wonderful. The game.
